1964 Corvair Monza Spyder Project: Disassembly & Engine Work

Let the disassembly begin! Our 1964 Corvair Monza Spyder literally gets torn apart.  Convertible top, interior, engine, sub-frame/suspension/brakes/wheels and exhaust system are all removed in preparation for either refinishing or replacement. Nuts and bolts are tagged and bagged, parts are cleaned and their further usefulness is determined.

As far as the body goes, it’s off to Elite Restorations where the restoration process will begin. Stay tuned for the next installment on our Project Corvair.
