SEMA 2019 – Where do we begin?

Where do we even begin with a recap of SEMA 2019? Was it just us or did this show seem to grow in size? We saw a lot of familiar faces and so many amazing rides. We have to give it up to all of the incredibly talented builders who were behind them.

First, we need to give the Original Parts Groups build team, our sponsors and everyone involved with this project a huge round of applause for the fantastic job well done on our 66 GTO, “The Tribute”. It was admired by so many at the show and even made Cristy Lee’s top ten “fav rides” list.

Then, of course, there was Bryan Fuller of Fuller Moto. This guy is not only an extremely talented builder but he is quite the character and he kept us entertained with his stories and jokes. The ’70 Chevelle he and his team built for Jared Cook turned a lot of heads at our booth, including Chris Jacobs. It also made it on Cristy Lee’s top ten list.

Another team that absolutely killed it were the guys over at SIX12 Auto Worx.

Using a ton of OPGI product, Louis D’Ermaso and his guys restored and modified a 1968 Chevelle for Funk Flex.

Check out some of the other rides we spotted at the show.

A line quickly formed and wrapped around our booth for a meet and greet with Adrienne “AJ” Janic from Overhaulin’. She hung around, signed and gave away her 2020 Garage Calendars to hundreds of people and posed with her fans, including Courtney Hansen!

Cristy Lee, with her never-ending schedule, even made time to stop by our booth, grab some lunch and meet and greet hundreds and hundreds of fans!

As we made our way out of the convention on Friday evening we spotted turk_ctsv in line for SEMA Ignited. You may have seen his 2019 CTSV  in our Modern Performance Cadillac commercial.

Needless to say, OPGI had a very successful week at SEMA and we are already looking forward to SEMA 2020!
