A look at Past SEMA Shows

With SEMA not taking place this year, Original Parts Group won’t have a SEMA recap for you. However, OPGI can recap you on some past shows. Take a look at SEMA over the last couple of decades.

In 2015 OPGI made a huge upgrade to their booth, adding a staircase and a private room for quick lunch breaks and to host meetings with potential partners

In 2016 OPGI brought along their ’70 Chevelle known as “The Executive”. Check out the video below of Lou Santiago interviewing CEO & Founder Dave Leonard to get the story behind the build.

Lou Santiago and Fast Jack Beckman hung out with the OPGI Team and signed some autographs for fans.

Another upgrade to the OPGI booth took place, this time a second room was added to allow a separate lunch and meeting room.

Our Grand National product line was introduced in 2017, so it only made sense to display our ’87 Buick Grand National at the 2017 SEMA show. Check out the video below where we discussed the new line.

Also displayed that year was Dream Giveaways ’70 Chevelle, seen below.

Cristy Lee made her first guest appearance at the OPGI booth in 2017. Cristy was so amazing with all of her fans that lined up hours before she arrived. She made sure each and every one of her fans got their photo op and autographs, including OPGI staff members!

Original Parts Group’s Corvair product line became available this year. To showcase their product OPGI displayed their in-house build, a ’66 Corvair Spyder Monza.

Pictured above is another in-house build, OPGI’s ’66 GTO, “The Tribute” that was displayed in 2019. Check out our blog feature to learn more abou this build.

OPGI worked with Bryan Fuller of Fuller Moto on NFL player, Jared Cook’s ’70 Chevelle. Check out the video below to hear more about this build.

Cristy Lee made another appearance at OPGI’s booth, and she couldn’t resist this photo op with Fuller in the Chevelle.

Courtney Hansen also couldn’t resist a photo op with the Chevelle.

The guys at Six Twelve Autoworks turned to OPGI when it came to Funk Master Flex’s ’68 Chevelle. Check out the video below with builder Louis Derasmo and Flex, as they disucss their project.
