OPGI at The 33rd Annual Seal Beach Classic Car Show

66 Chevy Chevelle and GTO Seal Beach Classic Car Show

After a cancellation in 2020, the 33rd Annual Seal Beach Classic Car Show finally took place on Saturday, October 9th, 2021. As suspected the event was a huge success, in fact over 500 registered classic cars were lined up, including some from our good friends in the So Cal Chevelle Camino Club and Sultans Car Club. Scroll on to catch shots of their rides and all the rest!

It was just about 8 am when our team arrived at Main and Electric to set up our booth and stage OPGI’s ’66 Chevelle and GTO for the show. Accessible to onlookers were our 2021 annual GM restoration parts catalogs, mini hand-sanitizer for extra precaution, and last but not least our knowledgeable staff, who had all the answers to your restoration questions.

As we made our way down Main St we ran into the Sultans Car Club. Check out those Rivieras above and a few others from the club below.

Showroom Associates, Jeff Miller, and Dennis Resinger were given the tough task to choose one Classic Car to be presented with the “OPGI Pick” award. The guys picked Tom Williamson’s 1961 Pontiac Ventura pictured above. Fun Fact, Tom’s Grand Prix to the left has made it onto multiple OPGI Grand Prix Catalog covers.

The little spectator above seems to be pleased with the number of Pontiacs that she spotted at the show but is ready to check out that ’65 Chevelle she sees ahead!

That ’65 belongs to our friend Bill Sinko of the So Cal Chevelle Camino Club. He and the rest of the members may have snagged the best spot at the show, so close to the ocean that you can smell the salty water. Check out the rest of their rides, as well as a ’66 GTO that made it onto the beach next to them!

We hope you enjoyed our digital recap of the 33rd Annual Seal Beach Classic Car Show and we hope even more that we see you at the 34th in 2022. Keep a lookout for future show details!
