Becoming its own model in 1978, the Chevrolet Malibu began as a trim level of the Chevrolet Chevelle. In addition to the nameplate change, the 1978 Malibu model was over a foot shorter, which cut down the vehicle's weight by several hundred pounds. The 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham is the Cadillac of Cadillacs. The Brougham package gave its owners many luxurious options including a vinyl top, adjustable reading lamps, and rear footrests, not to mention its most talked about feature, rear picnic tables!
