Every year the First Generation Monte Carlo Club rallies all of the members to get together for an annual cruise and meet. This year's turnout was exceptional with over 30 members and 29 cars. OPGI customer Jimmy Smith of Weogufka, AL recently sent us a few of photos of his 1972 Monte Carlo. Jimmy is the car’s second owner, having purchased the Monte in 1975. Technically, Jimmy’s car is a Monte Carlo Custom – the Custom being a one-year-only model. It was ordered with the 454 4-bbl., TH400 tranny, bucket seats, console, Rally Wheels, and all other factory options except cruise control and power windows.
