This year was the Grand National Roadster Show's 71st year and Original Parts Group Inc. was pleased to be in attendance. The event moved south from Oakland 16 years ago to the Pomona Fairplex and is now the destination where hundreds of registered show cars are on display each year. (more…)
Every year the First Generation Monte Carlo Club rallies all of the members to get together for an annual cruise and meet. This year's turnout was exceptional with over 30 members and 29 cars. It was a fun and very eventful day for Original Parts Group and our Car Show Team on June 8, 2019, as we hosted our all Chevy car show for pre-88 models. OPGI customer Jimmy Smith of Weogufka, AL recently sent us a few of photos of his 1972 Monte Carlo. Jimmy is the car’s second owner, having purchased the Monte in 1975. Technically, Jimmy’s car is a Monte Carlo Custom – the Custom being a one-year-only model.
